Dill Anethum graveolens (Annual)
Height 60 to 150cm. Leaves and seeds can be used to enhance the flavour of many dishes.
Garden Planting:
Dill likes well drained soil in full sun. Apart from water this herb requires no extra care.

Shelterd position in full sun. Stake to keep neat.
Harvest Time:
Pick leaves fresh as required. When seed begins to ripen, cut stalks and store covered for a week. Seeds should separate easily. Store in a airtight container for use.

Dill water is a remedy for a colicy stomach. Chew seeds to freshen the breath.
